Artikel-Zusammenfassung

Whatfix enables you to integrate with a third-party or custom tool to translate Whatfix content. This integration enables you to maintain accuracy and adhere to the translation guidelines of your organization.

Whatfix offers the following methods to translate with a custom translation tool:

API-based translation

This method enables users to send text strings or JSON files to a third-party translation tool and receive the translated content in the same API response. This is particularly beneficial for smaller translation tasks or when real-time processing is needed.

Batch translation method

This method is more suited for larger projects where the translated response is not immediately available. In this model, users send their content to a batch processing tool, which initiates a translation process that might take some time. For instance, if the custom translation tool, such as Rosetta, processes data in batches, the batch translation method is the preferred option. This approach is effective for managing substantial amounts of content, as it enables efficient resource handling and supports more complex translation tasks.
