Delete a Beacon

Whatfix enables you to delete Beacons. You can delete a single Beacon from the collection or the entire Beacon collection.

  • Whatfix widgets can be deleted only in the Draft and the Ready stages.
  • Once deleted, a widget can't be restored. Consider archiving them instead.

Delete a Beacon from a Beacon collection

Use the following steps to delete a Beacon from a Collection:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

  2. Click Beacons.

  1. Hover your cursor over the Beacon collection in which you want to delete a Beacon, and then click the Edit icon.

  2. Go to the Beacon that you want to delete from the collection, and then click Delete.

Delete an entire Beacon collection

Deleting a Beacon collection removes all the Beacons created in that collection.

Use the following steps to delete an entire Beacon collection:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard, click Widgets.

  2. Click Beacons.

  3. Hover your cursor over the Beacon collection you want to delete, and then click the more icon.

  4. Click Delete.

  5. In the confirmation pop-up, click Delete.

Delete Multiple Beacon segments

Use the following steps to delete multiple Beacon segments:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard, click Widgets.

  2. Click Beacons.

  3. Select the Beacon segments you want to delete.

  4. Click the Delete widgets icon.
