Embed a Vidyard video

Whatfix enables you to embed Vidyard videos to the Pop-up to deliver more information to your users. The video can be embedded in the description section. For more information on Whatfix Pop-up templates see, Choose the Pop-up template.

  1. Go to the location where the video file is located in your Vidyard account.

  2. Hover your cursor over the video and click the Share button.

  3. Click Copy link to copy the link to your clipboard.

Step 2: Insert the video in the pop-up

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

  2. Click Pop-ups.

  3. Hover your cursor over the Pop-up segment you want to configure, and then click the Edit icon.

  4. In the Description section, place the cursor where you want to add the video and double-click to open the Rich Text Editor.

  5. Click the + icon. The Add Component dialog box opens.

  6. On the Add Component dialog box, click Video.

  1. Paste the video URL.

Note

After adding the video URL, the video may look broken. However, it will work in Preview Mode and after publishing.

  1. Click Insert and finish creating the Pop-up.
