Create Cohorts from Funnel Insights

Cohorts from Funnel Insights is a Beta feature. To enable the feature, contact support@whatfix.com.
Do you want to understand the behavior of the users who have dropped off somewhere in a process? Whatfix enables you to create a Cohort directly from a Funnel step. The Cohorts created from Funnels can also be used as a filter in Trend Insights. For example, you can:
- Understand the user behaviour of all users who have completed a Flow.
- Create multiple groups based on the end user behaviour like, their dropping off point in a process.
Use the following steps to add a Cohort from a Funnel step;
- On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Insights.
Create a new Funnel Insight or open an existing one. For more information, see Create a Funnel.
Scroll down to see the data chart that is generated.
You can use the default and custom date filters to filter the data for a particular date range.
Click the Funnel Step or the drop off to see the respective user behavior.
Click Create Cohort.
- You cannot create a Cohort from a Funnel step if the Funnel has a Cohort as a user filter. For more information, see Add Cohorts in Funnel Insights.
- For a drop off step, select the group of users for whom you want to create a Cohort.
Add a title and description to your Cohort, and then click Create Cohort.
Once the Cohort is created, click View Cohort to see it in the Cohorts page.
In the Cohort that you have created, you can:
- Update the Cohort duration rule, that is, the time window during or since the Funnel has been created.
- Filter users based on attributes like location, device type, status, and more.
