Dashboards help you visualize your data with contextual Trend and Funnel Insights. Create and customize Dashboards based on your business needs and use cases with the ability to export them.

As a pre-requisite to creating Dashboards, you have to create Trend Insights or Funnel Insights.

Create Custom Dashboards
Use the following steps to create your Dashboard:
- On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Dashboards.

In Dashboards, Go to the top-right, and then click + Create Dashboard.

Click the Edit icon to name your Dashboard.

- The maximum character limit for the name of the Dashboard is 200 characters. Special characters and spaces are supported.
- Enter a Description for your Dashboard.

- The maximum character limit for the Description is 500 characters. Special characters and spaces are supported.

Click Add Insight.

In the Insights panel, hover your cursor over the Insight or search for the Insight you want to add, and then click +ADD.

- Up to 10 Insights can be added to a particular Dashboard.
- Whatfix enables you to add the same Insight multiple times.

The grid displays data charts for the Insights that you have added.

By default, the Insights appear with the same data chart it is stored as.

Filter the Dashboard as per the date filters available and also set custom dates. Also, use built-in filters to display your data according to specific conditions. For more information on the filters available, see Using Filters in Dashboards.
- Click Save Dashboard.

Click the Star icon to mark your Dashboard as favorite. Dashboards that are made as favorites appear at the top which make them easier to access.

Click Export to download your Dashboard as a PDF.
Customize your Dashboards
Use the following options to customize your Dashboards to visualize data as required:

Drag and Drop

Resize Insights

Change the chart type

Make a copy
-
Remove
-
Drag and Drop: Drag and drop your Insights anywhere across the grid and rearrange them.
- Resize Insights: Resize the Insights on the grid and the charts get resized accordingly.

Change the chart type: Change the chart type from the available options.

Make a copy: Click the Ellipsis icon and select the Make a copy icon to create a copy of the Insight.

Remove: Click the Ellipsis icon and select the Remove icon to remove an Insight.

Deleting an Insight on the Dashboard has no impact on the actual Insight.
