A Pop-up can be used to trigger a Flow that enables you to inform your users about a new feature or help onboard them, and then hand hold them through each step of the workflow.
For example, suppose you want to give an overview of your desktop application to all the users in your organization. Some of them might want to get an overview, however, there may be others who might already be familiar with the application.
Using a Pop-up, you can simply ask them to click the button if they require a workflow that takes them through the application. If they click the button, a Flow attached to the Popup gets triggered and hand holds the respective user through the whole process.
- Make sure you've created the necessary Flow before creating the Pop-up.
- If your end-user completes the Flow till the end, then the Pop-up does not appear irrespective of the occurrence count set.
- If the Flow that you are trying to attach is a part of an existing Task List or Self Help segment and if your end-user completes the Flow till the end, then the Pop-up doesn't appear.
- If you want to use an existing Flow, you can create a copy of the Flow that you'd like to attach to a Pop-up and use the copy.
- If the end-user doesn't complete the Flow, the Pop-up appears as per the configured occurrence count.
- If you'd like to change the default behavior of Pop-ups not appearing due to completed Flows attached, contact support@whatfix.com.
