Trigger a Flow using the Pop-up Visual Editor

  • Ensure that you've created the necessary Flow before creating the Pop-up.
  • If your end user completes the Flow till the end, then the Pop-up does not appear again irrespective of the occurrence count set.
  • If the end user doesn't complete the Flow, the Pop-up appears as per the configured occurrence count.
  • If you want to continue showing the Pop-up even after the end user completes the attached Flow, select the checkbox under Set Visibility Rules. This option displays your Pop-up for the set number of occurrences, even after the Flow is completed.

Use the following steps to attach a flow to a Pop-up using the Visual Editor:

  1. Log in to the application where you want to create content, and then launch Whatfix Studio.

  2. On the Whatfix Studio, click Popup.

  3. Choose the color theme using the Theme dropdown.

Note

Use your custom color by entering the hex color code in the text box.

  1. Select a Pop-up template, for example Feature Onboarding.

  2. Enter a name for the Pop-up segment.

  3. On the Pop-up template, edit the Title and Description for your Pop-up.

To customize and align the text, hover your cursor over any text and then double-click to open the Rich Text Editor.

  1. On the Pop-up template, edit the Button Name for your Pop-up.

  2. To attach the Flow, hover your cursor over the button and click to open the Button configuration menu.

  3. Next to Action, select Start flow option from the dropdown.

  4. Click the icon next to Select Flow.

  5. Select the Flow from the list.

  6. Once the Pop-up is ready, click Save Popup.
