You can integrate OneDrive with Whatfix to fetch articles from your OneDrive Repository and display them as contextual links in the Self Help widget.
To enable OneDrive integration, the OneDrive Authorization code must be handed over to a Whatfix representative.
Use the following steps to generate the OneDrive Authorization code,
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.
-
Click Repositories.
-
Click the OneDrive tile.
-
Enter a title, your OneDrive URL, and then click Next.
-
Choose if you want the Repository content to be accessed by anyone with the link or only internal employees with the link, and then click Next.
-
Choose if you want to fetch content from the whole Repository or a specific folder, and then click Integrate.
-
Log in to your Microsoft account.
-
Once logged in, on the pop-up that appears, click Accept.
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.
-
Click Repositories.
-
Click the OneDrive tile.
-
Enter a title, Repository URL, and then click Next.
-
Choose if you want the Repository content to be accessed by anyone with the link or only internal employees with the link, and then click Next.
-
Choose if you want to fetch content from the whole Repository or a specific folder, and then click Integrate.
-
Since the login credentials used are for a non-admin account, click Request approval on the pop-up.
-
Once the request is sent, the following pop-up is displayed.
-
Ensure that the admin of the Microsoft account has provided you with access to the OneDrive app.
-
Once the access is provided, the integration is saved as Draft.
- Go to the Repository draft, and then click the more icon.
- Click the Edit icon, and then follow steps 1 to 5 to integrate the Repository.
