After creating a Funnel, analyze your users' progress as they navigate through the application. The Funnel View and the Table View enable you to identify where users are failing or dropping off. This information can help you make improvements to the application and enhance the user experience.
The Funnel view of the events displays the following:
- The total number of unique users who engaged with the Funnel step.
- The subsequent slopes display the drop-off percentage of the users. For example, a steeper slope (shown in red) indicates that a high percentage of users have not engaged with the Funnel step.
- The average of the total time taken between two events.
The Funnel view also displays the Funnel Summary which has the following metrics:
-
Time taken to complete the Funnel: Shows how long end users took to complete the entire process based on the following 3 measures:
-
Average: It is the sum of the total time taken by each user to complete a process, divided by the number of users. For example, the average total time taken by the 100 users to complete the entire Funnel is 59m 1s, which means that users are taking 59 minutes 1 second to complete the process. This is calculated by taking the individual completion time of each user and dividing it by 100.
-
Median: The median is the middle value when the total time taken by each user is arranged in order from the shortest to the longest. For example, the median time taken by end users to complete the Funnel is 55m 7s, which means that half of the users are taking less than and half are taking more than 55 minutes 7 seconds to complete the process.
-
95th percentile: It is the time taken by 95% of end users to complete the process. For example, the 95th percentile is 3m 1s, which means that only 5% of the users are taking more than 3 minutes 1 second to complete the process.
-
-
Slowest Step: Shows which Funnel step the users spent most time on.
-
Biggest Drop: Shows which Funnel step witnessed the highest number of user drop-off.
- View all the Funnel events, that is, Flows, User Actions, and Page View in the Funnel view.
- Funnels only consider completed Flow steps and User Actions.
Filter your Funnels using the default and custom date filters.
Total users reflects the total number of users present in the system, regardless of whether they view or interact with Whatfix content or not. This means that it also counts unique users who visit pages where Whatfix content is not present. The count of Total users changes based on the User filter applied.
The Table view of the events display the selected Flows, User Actions, and Page Views, the total number of unique users who engaged with the actions, and the average time taken for each action before interaction with the next action.
