# Upload translated content

Whatfix enables you to manually download the content as [Property Files](/studio/docs/using-property-files). Based on your requirements and processes, translate them from a third-party or an in-house translator. Once you have translated the Whatfix content using the property files, the final step in the translation process is to upload the translated files into your Whatfix account.

> Before proceeding, convert the translated files into a .zip file.

Use the following steps to upload the translated files:

1. 2. 1. 2. 3. From your device, select the translated .zip file and then click **Open**.
4. > - Content can be translated only if they are in the **Draft** or **Ready** stages.
