Use the Preview Mode on the Whatfix Desktop Editor

You can use the Whatfix Preview Mode to review and see how your content appears on your applications. The Preview Mode helps you experience what your end users will see. You can also find any errors that might have slipped in and rectify them before your end users face an issue.

Use the following steps to preview Whatfix content and widgets,

  1. To launch the Editor, on your desktop, click the Whatfix Editor.

  2. On the top right, click the dropdown next to your profile name and then enable the Preview Mode toggle.

  3. If the content you want to preview is in the Draft stage, then select the Include Draft content and widgets checkbox.

  4. In the Pop-up that appears, click Start Player.

  • When you create a new Desktop enterprise, you must perform at least one push to production before you can start previewing content.
  • The first push to production can be empty, that is, you don't have to publish any content/widgets with it.
