Use the Preview Mode on the Whatfix Desktop Studio

Use the Whatfix Preview Mode to review and see how your content appears on your end-users application. The Preview Mode helps you experience what your end users see. Find any errors that may have slipped in and rectify them before your end users face an issue.

Use the following steps to preview Whatfix content and widgets:

  1. Launch Whatfix Studio.

  2. To enable the Preview Mode, click the eye icon on Studio.

  3. If the content you want to preview is in the Draft stage, then select the Include Draft content and widgets. checkbox.

  4. In the Pop-up that appears, click Start Player.

  • When you create a new Desktop enterprise, you must perform at least one push to production before you start previewing content.
  • The first push to production can be empty, that is, you don't have to publish any content or widgets with it.
