# Add a Launcher to an existing collection

By default, Whatfix evaluates only one Launcher collection at a time per page.

Use the following steps to add a Launcher to an existing collection:

3. Select an element or location on the application where you want the Launcher to appear.

Note:

Make the following changes to the Launcher text using the Rich Text Editor:

- Bold the text
- Make the text italic
- Underline the text
- Change the font size of the text

1. In the **Launcher Actions** section, use the dropdown and select the content you want to trigger through a Launcher.

Note:

To attach content to a Launcher, if you do not find it in the dropdown menu, it means that there is no draft or ready version of the content. Content that is in Production will not display. Create a version of the content and then attach it to the Launcher. When you publish the Launcher, the content linked to the Launcher is also published.

1. To attach the content, click **+ Attach Flow** and select the content.

Note:

The button changes as per the Launcher Action you have selected.

1. Expand the **Appearance** dropdown, under the **Type** section, select the Launcher appearance using the dropdown menu.

     Select Label only

- Use different button styles to suit the underlying application. Select between Filled (Primary) button, Secondary (Outlined) (Secondary) button, and Text button styles based on your use case.

     Select Icon only

Note:

- Whatfix enables you to add your custom icons for your Launchers. For more information, see [Use custom icons for Smart Tips](/studio/docs/use-custom-icons-for-launcher).
- The Launcher text color or icon color can be changed under **Color**.

Note:

Whatfix also enables you to add Launchers to a Launcher collection that is in the Production stage by moving it to the Draft Stage, and then following the steps listed above.

A visually prominent button that represents the primary action on a page. It has a filled background, an outline, and text that draws users' attention.

Text buttons are represented as text links and are used for less important actions than Primary and Secondary buttons. It has no background color or outline, just the text itself.
