# Add a Link to a Task List

Whatfix enables you to add a link to an external content source within the Task List.

Here's a GIF that demonstrates how a link clicked from the Task List opens in your application.

There are two ways to add a link to Task List.

Use the following steps to create a link:

4. Click **Create**, then select **Link** using the dropdown.

5. Enter the purpose of the link in the **Title** field and the link in the **Link** field.

Enter search keywords and add tags, if needed.

6.  Click **Save Link**.

Use the following steps to add an existing link to Task List:

4. Click **Select**.

5. Set the filter to **LINK**.

6. Select the desired links, and then click **Okay**.

7. Click **Save**.
