# Add a Video to a Smart Tip

Whatfix enables you to link videos to Smart Tips to engage users with a visual message.

Use the following steps to embed a video to an existing Smart Tip:

When you add videos to Smart-tips, ensure that their maximum dimensions are within the width of 300px and the height of 200px. Videos must follow an aspect ratio of 1.5:1.

- Whatfix enables you to add videos on Smart-tips also through Studio while creating the content.

- Whatfix enables you to add videos to your content by entering either the **URL** or the **Embedded code** or **Browse** option. The **Browse** option refers to the videos hosted on Whatfix Dashboard.

- If you want the video to autoplay for your end users, click **Autoplay** while inserting the video.
