Tagging helps you organize your content together and maintain logical consistency across content. Determine when you want to display what kind of content to what kind of user. There might be instances where you might want to tag multiple pieces of content together.
- Add tags to up to 100 content items at a time.
- You cannot bulk tag content in the Production stage. Move the items to the Ready or Draft stage, tag them, and then publish them to Production.
- You cannot add Tags to folders.
Use the following steps to tag multiple content:
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.

Click All Content.

Select the checkboxes next to the content you want to tag.

Click the Tags icon.

In the Manage Tags dialog box, click Manage Tags.

Search or select the relevant tags.

If the tag does not exist, type in the name of the tag and hit the Enter key to create a new tag.

- Click Update.

Preview the Whatfix content using the Preview mode and publish the content to Production to make it live.
Auto tags are auto-created in your Dashboard and attached to all the Dynamic content (Flows, Smart Tips, and Beacons) and can't be added manually. However, you can add these Auto Tags to Static content (Links, Video Links, Articles, Images, and PDFs) manually.
