One of the outputs that you can generate each time you create a walkthrough is an embedable article. The embedable article format is converted from a walkthrough as a step-by-step article along with the corresponding screenshots. The benefit of this format is that if there is a change in your user interface, all you need to do to do is to update the walkthrough for the changes to reflect in your article.

To embed content as an article,

  1. Navigate to the Whatfix Dashboard.

  2. Open the walkthrough you want to embed and click Embed drop-down menu.

  3. Click Article from the drop-down.

  4. Select the language in which you want to display the article content.

  1. Configure the width and title options.

  2. Depending on the environment and format that you are working on, copy the respective HTML/ code.

  3. Paste the copied code in your Knowledge base where you want to display the article.

your title goes here
  • Changes made to the task are automatically reflected in the embedded article once the associated walkthrough is updated.
  • If you use CDN servers, you need to push your changes to production before the updates are visible in multi formats.
