Whatfix enables you to attach a Flow, Link, Video, Image, or PDF to a Beacon collection. It helps provide relevant information to your end users in their flow of work.
Note:
Create a Flow, Link, Video, Image, or PDF prior to attaching it to a Beacon collection.
Expand the following accordions to attach content to an existing Beacon collection:
Attach Content to a Beacon (Old Experience)

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

Click Beacons.

Hover your cursor over the Beacon segment you want to edit, and then click the Edit icon.

In the Attach Content section, click Attach Content.

Select the content you want to attach to the Beacon.

Note:
The attached content starts appearing based on the Disappear Beacon setting that you configure when you create it.

Click Okay.

Click Save.

Note:
Whatfix enables you to add videos on Beacons also through Studio while creating the content. For more information on how to create Beacons, see Create a Beacon. Once you create the content, click the description section of the tooltip and then select the Insert Video icon from the Rich text editor.

Add the video to the Beacon.

Whatfix enables you to add videos to your content by entering either the **URL** or **Embedded code** or **Browse** option. The **Browse** option refers to the videos hosted on Whatfix Dashboard.

If you want the video to autoplay for your end users, click **Autoplay** while inserting the video.

If your account has migrated to the Unified Content Experience, perform the following steps to attach an action to a Beacon.

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.

Click Beacons.

Select the Beacon you want to attach an action to.

Expand the dropdown in the Beacon action section and select a Content. For example, you want to attach a Flow.

Click Attach Flow.

Select the Flow.

Click Save.
