# Attributes as Visibility Rules

Note:

If you see the following UI, you have the New Visibility Rules enabled for the account. For more information, see [Understand New Visibility Rules](https://support.whatfix.com/docs/understand-visibility-rules-20). ![Visibility Rules 2.0 screenshot](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/vr2_main%20page.png)

Attribute condition rules enable you to fetch specific information based on roles, departments, geography, accounts, etc. and segment content to show to particular users. Once the attributes are integrated with Whatfix, you can see them in the visibility rules of widgets for content segmentation.

## Types of Attributes condition Rules

There are two types of Attribute conditions. User Attributes and Enterprise Attributes.

- **User Attributes**: User Attributes enable you to fetch end-users information from your app for content segmentation. For example, roles, departments, divisions, etc. These attributes are either created manually or automatically depending on the out-of-the-box Integrations done. For more information, see [User Attributes](/studio/docs/user-attributes).
- **Enterprise Attributes**: Enterprise Attributes enable you to fetch your application information for content segmentation. For example, Geography, Account type mapped, etc. These attributes are either created manually or automatically depending on the out-of-the-box integrations done. For more information, see [Enterprise Attributes for content segmentation](/studio/docs/enterprise-attributes-for-content-segmentation).
