# Auto tip execution does not work in Smart Tips

## Issue

Even though auto tip execution is configured for the Smart Tips, the tip does not appear or only appears when the end user hovers over the 'i' icon next to the selected element.

## Probable Cause

This may occur due to incorrect tip configuration. The appearance style of the Smart Tip might have been selected as **On Hover over the 'i' icon**, which means the smart tip appears only when your cursor is hovered over the 'i' icon. ![hover_i.png](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/hover_i.png)

## Suggested Solutions

To make sure auto tip execution works, ensure both the following options are selected when configuring the Smart Tip.
