# Can I add tags to multiple content in bulk?

Yes, Whatfix enables you to bulk add Tags up to 100 content items at a time.

> - You cannot bulk tag content in the Production stage. Move the items to the Ready or Draft stage, tag them, and then publish them to Production.
> - Ensure that you [push the content to Production](/studio/docs/pushing-whatfix-content-to-production) to make the changes live.

Whatfix Tags enable you to segment or group content on the Whatfix Dashboard. A Tag also helps identify a page on your application so that relevant Whatfix content can be displayed on the right page.
