# Nudge users to show Self Help

A nudge is a tool-tip on the Floating Action Button (FAB) that displays on the open or closed state of the Hub or Improved Self Help widget — [to introduce Self Help to new users](/studio/docs/capture-user-attention-in-self-help). Nudge first-time users of Hub or Improved Self Help to catch their attention and notify them about the feature.

Expand the following accordions for more details:

#### **Nudges in Hub**

> Note:

> Hub is a Beta feature. To enable this feature for your account, contact [support@whatfix.com](mailto:support@whatfix.com?subject=Request%20to%20enable%20unified%20Hub%20experience%20&body=Hi%20team%2C%0A%0APlease%20enable%20Hub%20for%20our%20account.%20%0A%0AThanks).

In Hub, the configuration and appearance of Self Help nudges remain the same. However, the priority and visibility of the nudge depend on whether you configure a Task List nudge.

**Key Behavior Changes for Self Help Nudges in Hub**

- If a Task List nudge is active, it takes priority, and the Self Help nudge is not shown.
- Whatfix displays Self Help nudges only when no Task List nudges are active for users on the page.
- Self Help nudges continue to appear as tooltips alongside the Floating Action Button (FAB) or the open Hub panel.

This prioritization ensures that users see time-sensitive, task-driven guidance before discovery-based guidance.

For more information on how nudges are prioritized in Hub, see [Nudges in Hub: Prioritization for Self Help vs Task List](/studio/docs/understand-nudge-evaluation-for-self-help-and-task-list).
