# Change where the Self help Live Chat Opens

Whatfix enables you to integrate Self Help with your existing live chat application. The live chat, once enabled, is an icon inside Self Help. The chat icon is automatically displayed when your user search does not return any results. The user can click the chat icon to get redirected to your live chat provider. By default, your chat application is opened in a new tab. However, you can specify where you want to open the live chat using the following steps:

4. In the **Support Chat Target Value** field, enter your desired [HTML target attribute](https://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_a_target.asp) to specify where you want to open the live chat.
