# Create a copy of an existing Survey

Whatfix enables you to create a copy of an existing Survey and edit it. When you want to use the same Survey with minor modifications or display it to different users, you can create a copy of the Survey and make it live for your end users. This helps you reuse the existing Survey and reduce the need to recreate the Survey from scratch.

Copy of a Survey can be created only in the widget section within the Dashboard.

Use the following steps to create a copy of an existing Survey:

Whatfix content and widgets can be copied in the Draft, Ready, and Production stages.

- The copy of the Whatfix content or widget is created with the title: **Copy of** <***Content/Widget Title***>. ![Copied_TL](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/Copied_TL.png)
