# Create a copy of an existing Survey

Whatfix enables you to clone existing Surveys for quick reuse. If you need to deploy a similar Survey with minor modifications or target a new user segment, simply create a copy, edit the content, and publish it to your end users.

> Note:
> 
> Copy of a Survey can be created only in the widget section within the Dashboard.

Use the following steps to create a copy of an existing Survey:

> Whatfix content and widgets can be copied in the Draft, Ready, and Production stages.

> Note:
> 
> - The dialog box appears only when you copy a survey from the production stage.
