# Capture Whatfix analytics data using Google Analytics (GA)

## Overview

Whatfix provides easy-to-configure analytics with the most popular analytics tool - Google Analytics (GA).

          Note:

Perform the following actions only after you have configured your Whatfix account to your Google Analytics account.

- Track usage of the Flows you have created using Whatfix.
- Track usage of the various Whatfix widgets (onboarding Popups, Self Help, Beacons, Task List, slideshows, and more).

          Info:

Your account is created on the latest Google Analytics - GA4 version.

To capture and analyze data, four major steps must be followed while configuring your GA account to Whatfix.

- If you're capturing all the events and your organization is on the Standard Google Analytics plan, then some events may not be captured after it crosses the event limit.

1. On the **Upgrade to Google Analytics GA4** pop-up, paste the copied Measurement ID. ![upgrade_ga4](https://cdn.document360.io/a268766e-d74d-4619-9613-e2472f809ffb/Images/Documentation/upgrade_ga4.png)
