Whatfix enables you to integrate a third-party or custom tool to translate Whatfix content. This integration enables you to maintain accuracy and adhere to the translation guidelines of your organization.

Read this section to learn how to setup a translation tool for Whatfix. The process includes: mapping languages, converting data formats, and configuring API-Anfragen.

Note:

The integration setup for the following topics uses Microsoft Azure as an example. Based on your requirements and the tool of your choice, setup the integration accordingly.

You must configure all the steps in the following order to successfully integrate a custom translation tool:

  1. Add Translation Tool

  2. Map Languages

  3. Convert Whatfix Data into a format accepted by the custom translation tool

  4. Configure API request to receive translated content

  5. Convert custom tool format to Whatfix data

  6. Activate the custom translation tool
