# Developer Guide

Whatfix Application Programming Interface (APIs) enables you to perform operations that you can do with our web client. Whatfix APIs are built using REST principles and follow HTTP rules, enabling a wide range of HTTP clients to interact with the API. Every resource is exposed as a URL. The URL of each resource can be obtained by accessing the API Root Endpoint.
