# How does User Action work on the CLM dashboard?

User Actions enable you to track your end users' actions and analyze their behavior on your application. They can be created like Flows, and act like invisible sensors throughout your application.

To make your User Actions live on your application, you first need to publish them. However, User Actions don't follow the CLM Stages of Production, that is, you do not have to push them from **Draft** to **Ready** to the **Production** Stage.

To know how to publish a User Action, see [Publish a User Action](https://support.whatfix.com/studio/docs/should-i-do-a-push-to-production-for-any-content-changes).

          your title goes here

- A User Action cannot be previewed since it does not have any visual characteristics.
- To understand in detail how User Actions work on the CLM Dashboard, see [User Actions](/studio/docs/user-action).
