# Download the XLIFF language file

Whatfix provides a customized XML Localization Interchange File Format (XLIFF) file containing all the details of the content, referred to as the **XLIFF language file**. Download an XLIFF language file for all the content on the Dashboard or for selected content.

A new XLIFF format is available offering full compliance with XLIFF standards and compatibility with almost all modern translation tools.

          Note:

- The old XLIFF format is planned to be deprecated by June 25th, 2025. Whatfix recommends you to switch to the new XLIFF format.
