# Download Whatfix Flows as ODF files

Download [Whatfix Flows](/studio/docs/what-are-flows) as editable Open Document Format (ODF) files. Edit such files using popular word processing software such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and more.

ODF files are similar to the popular DOCX file format used with Microsoft Word. ODF files support text, images, objects, and styles; they are compatible with several text editing programs.

The use of special characters in the Flow name could result in errors. Thus, if the Flow title includes spaces or any of these special characters **—**, **<**, **>**, **:**, **"**, **/**, **|**, **?**, *, **#**, **%**, **period (.)**, and **comma (,)** replace these characters with an **underscore (_)** when downloading Flows.

Use the following steps to download Flows as ODF files:

You can download a Flow as an ODF at any stage, be it in the **Draft, Ready,** or **Production** stage. An email with a **.zip** attachment is sent to your registered email address.
