Whatfix enables you to edit Beacons inside a collection both during creation and post-creation.
Make the following changes to a Beacon inside a collection:
- Change its position
- Change its style
- Update the description
- Delete a Beacon from the collection

Use the following steps to edit the Beacon inside a collection during Beacon creation:

On Whatfix Studio, click the Beacon you want to edit.

Click Edit step.

Make changes to the Beacon and then click Save.

Use the following steps to edit a Beacon inside a collection post Beacon creation:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.

Click Beacons.
-
Hover your cursor over the Beacon collection you want to edit, and then click the Edit icon.

Go to the Beacon and then click the Edit icon.

Make changes to the Beacon and then click Save.

Click Save to save the Beacon collection.
Use the following steps to edit a Beacon inside a collection post Beacon creation:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.

Click Beacons.

Hover your cursor over the Beacon collection you want to edit, and then click the Edit icon.

Click Launch live edit.

Once Whatfix Studio launches on the application, click the Beacon you want to edit.

Click Edit step.

Make changes to the Beacon and then click Save.

Click Save Beacon.
