# Embed Videos in Pop-ups

Whatfix enables you to display videos in pop-ups to introduce new features to your users, give them a product walkthrough or guide users through a video about product and software updates.

Based on the hosted plaform of the video, you can:

Whatfix enables you to upload videos using the video URL or the embed code based on the hosted platform. 
When you create videos on the **Dashboard** or by using **Whatfix Studio**, you must: 

* Upload a video using the video URL for Youtube, Vimeo, and Wistia. The preceding platform supports embed code. 
* Upload a video using the embed code for Google Drive, Microsoft Stream and SharePoint, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Vidyard.
