Embed a Wistia video using Embed code

Whatfix enables you to embed videos in any Pop-up template to display more information to your users. You can embed the video in the description section.

To add a Wistia video to your Pop-up, use one of the following two ways:
Adding video embed code in a Pop-up is a two-step process:
Step 1: Get the video embed code
Step 2: Insert the video embed code in the Pop-up
Step 1: Get the video embed code
Use the following steps to get the video embed code:

Go to the Wistia video that you want to include in the Pop-up.

On the navigation panel, click </> Embed.

Scroll down and click Advanced Settings.

Select Fallback.
-
Click </> Copy Code.
-
Paste the copied Fallback embed code in a text editor.

Copy the iFrame code.
-
Use the copied iFrame code to embed video.
Step 2: Insert the video embed code in the Pop-up
Use the following steps to insert the video embed code in the Pop-up:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

Click All widgets.
-
Click the Edit icon.

In the Description section, place the cursor where you want to add the video and double-click to open the Rich Text Editor.

Click the Insert Video icon.

Paste the iFrame code.

Click Insert.

Finish creating the Pop-up.

Use the following steps to get the video URL:

Go to the Wistia video that you want to include in the Pop-up.

On the left navigation panel, click Overview.

Click Share.
-
Select Copy link.
Step 2: Insert the video URL in the Pop-up
Use the following steps to insert the video URL in the Pop-up:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

Click All widgets.
-
Click the Edit icon.

In the Description section, place the cursor where you want to add the video and double-click to open the Rich Text Editor.

Click the + icon. The Add Component dialog box opens.

On the Add Component dialog box, click Video.

Paste the copied URL.

Click Insert.
-
Finish creating the Pop-up.
