Troubleshooting
Unable to see Whatfix extensions in Mac Apps or Mobile Device Apps
You might face this issue if the MDM configurations are incorrect or application licenses have not been purchased. Perform the following steps to resolve this issue:
Configuration changes to Mac Apps in JAMF Pro are not applied to end-user machines
Configuration changes might take time to get applied to end-user machines. Perform the following steps to resolve this issue:
Remove the device from the scope in Mac Apps, save, refresh, and then re-add the device to the Scope.
Check the settings of the Update Inventory Policy on Computers. Make sure the devices are added to the Scope and the Recurring check-in option is selected.
The extension is unaffected even though a newer version is available
Application updates might take time to get applied to end-user machines. If the update fails, the updated version of the app must be deployed once again.
Create a new application with a newer version of the same app. This triggers an update of the application to the newer version. You might remove the older duplicate Mac App entry to clean up the Mac Apps page.
