The Most active users report in the New Guidance Analytics experience shows the total number of times users engage with any Whatfix content or widget, such as Flows, Smart tips, or Beacons, for a specific timeframe.
Note:
The Download Unique Users and Engagement report from the old Guidance Analytics experience is now available as Most active users in the New Guidance Analytics experience.
Use the information to understand the end-user engagement with Whatfix content or widgets and modify the content or widgets, such as adjusting their position or colors, to increase the engagement rate.
Here’s a sample report:
The report contains the following information:
The event name
The User Id of the users who engaged with the content or widgets, and
The total number of times the users engaged with the content or widgets for the chosen timeframe.
Note:
The Most active users report does not show the number of users who only viewed Whatfix content or widgets without engaging, and it does not include engagement with User Actions. For more information on the events included in the report, see Analytics Summary - New Guidance Analytics Dashboard.
The event name, Any Whatfix Events, denotes the engagement with any Whatfix content or widgets, such as Flows, Smart tips, or Beacons.
Use the following steps to download the Most active users report:
- On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Guidance analytics.
- Click Summary.
Scroll down to the Most active users report, and then click the Menu icon.
Click Download table.
Note:
Download table has two options:
Current Page Data: The entire report is downloaded as a CSV file to your local drive. The report consists of the following columns:
The event name
The User Id of the user who engaged with the content or widget, and
The total number of times the user engaged with the content or widgets over a specific timeframe.
Detailed insight data: The report is sent to your email as a ZIP file, which you can download and extract. The report consists of the following columns:
The event name
The date of engagement
The User Id of the user who engaged with the content or widgets on a specific date
The number of times the user engaged with the content or widgets on a specific date
Select Current Page Data or Detailed insight data, as required.
Note:
By default, the Most active users report does not contain the Date breakdown, which shows engagement for each day. To view the Date breakdown, click Columns in table, and then select Date breakdown.
Click Menu —> Filter—> All—> User Filters to filter the data based on a specific device, browser, or country.
To drill down on the Most active users report, for example, to view which user engaged with a specific content or widget, recreate the report in Product Analytics. For more information, see Guidance Analytics Summary Dashboards on Product Analytics
