Yes, Blockers follow accessibility guidelines and are WCAG compliant.
Here’s how end users with accessibility needs can effectively interact with Blockers:
Accessing the tooltip
A tooltip appears either on click for Invisible blocker or on hover for Visible blocker on the selected element in the application.
End users who use assistive technologies such as screen readers are nudged to click CTRL+I
(Windows) or CMD+I
(MacOs) to move the focus of the screen reader inside the tooltip. This mechanism helps the screen reader read out the content to the end user.
Closing the tooltip
To enable the screen reader to move out of the focused tooltip, end users need to press the Esc
key or click the close icon on the tooltip. The focus of the screen reader immediately moves on to the next interactive element, outside the tooltip, on the application page.
