# Enable Autocapture for selective users

[Autocapture](/product-analytics/docs/what-is-autocapture) automatically captures all click events and interactions on your application pages without requiring manual element capture (User Actions). Enable Autocapture only for specific users on the application to test and validate the feature before enabling it for all end users.

Use the following steps to enable Autocapture for selective users:

1. Click **User Action**.

2. Select the **Enable Autocapture for selective users**checkbox.

3. Click **Add**.

4. Under the **Enable Autocapture for selective users Value,**enter the User ID for which you want to enable Autocapture in the text box.

> Note:
> 
> The User IDs you add must match the User IDs configured by Whatfix to [identify the user uniquely](/product-analytics/docs/how-does-whatfix-identify-users-on-the-application) on the application. For example, if you’re using email IDs to uniquely identify users, add the same email IDs in the setting.

> - To add more than one User ID, separate the IDs using a comma.

5. Click **Save**.
