# Search Feedback in Self Help

The Search feedback enables your end users to provide feedback and register their requests and suggestions when they can't find what they are looking for in Self Help.

Though there are other ways of communicating, like email support, live chat, and ticketing, that redirect the end user to respective applications, the ability to provide search feedback enables users to provide in-app feedback in their flow of work.

          Note

Whatfix captures the email address of the end users, if they choose to share it, and then displays it to the content creators in the Search Feedback report.

## Use Cases

The Search Feedback helps in:

- Providing end users the ability to directly communicate with the content creators
- Providing content creators with the information required to create relevant content
- Reducing support tickets
- Improving end user engagement with the Self Help widget
