## Overview

Whatfix enables you to segment content to users based on attributes fetched at an application level.

Web applications contain multiple underlying attributes, some of which are associated with a user, whereas others are not.

**Enterprise Attributes** are the attributes that are part of the application which are not associated with the user. For example, geography, department, account type, etc.

---

## Use cases

Whatfix Enterprise Attributes enables you to fetch your application information and use them in widget visibility rules for easy content segmentation.

For example, you can configure a Pop-up to display only to users logging from the EMEA region.

          **Info**

You can use Enterprise Attributes for use cases where end-user-related segmentation is not required.

As a best practice, ensure that the **EnterpriseID** attribute is created for your account. This is to ensure that your integrations do not fail.
