## Overview

Using this integration, data from your Heap account can be shared with your Whatfix account, and specific content can be focused on a specific group of users.

          Note

          

To use this integration, you need to have purchased **Heap Connect** because segment or user group exports are pulled using Redshift.

Redshift connections are only available for Heap Connect users. To learn more, contact your Heap Account Manager.

## Use cases

Here are some use cases that are possible using this integration:

- Show a Pop-up about new product capabilities to all the power users of the application.
- Show new updates using Beacons to passive users of the application.
- Generate more revenue by showing upsell Pop-ups based on application usage.
- Show survey forms in a Pop-up to get feedback from users who used the new feature at least three times.

## How it works

## Authentication

Heap follows **Basic Auth** for REST APIs, and Whatfix uses the **Token-based** authorization method.
