# How can I delete a repository link from Production?

You may want to delete an outdated or duplicate repository link present in the Production stage of the Whatfix dashboard.

Only an **Account Manager** can perform the following task. For more information about available roles, see [Whatfix User Roles](/studio/docs/whatfix-user-roles).

Use the following steps to delete a published repository link from the dashboard:

1. Click **Production**.

2. In the search bar, enter the name of the repository link to delete, and then press the **Enter**key on your keyboard.

> Whatfix recommends avoiding the search suggestions.

3. Click the specific repository link to delete.

4. Click **Remove from production**.

Whatfix moves the link to the Ready stage.
5. Click **Ready**, and then click the link to delete.

6. Click **Delete content**.

> 
> The repository link is deleted from the dashboard. If the link remains in your repository, Whatfix may crawl it again. To prevent Whatfix from crawling the link, remove it from your repository.
