# How can I edit Whatfix content and widgets?

Whatfix enables you to use the **Edit** option to edit all your Whatfix content and widgets.

* In the Production stage, clicking **Edit** creates a new version of the Whatfix content and the widget in the Draft Stage.
* Your end users still see the current version of the content or the widget.
* Once you edit the version in the Draft Stage, and move it to the Production stage, the old version in the Production Stage is overwritten with the new version and your end users see the updated version.
