# Unable to prioritize or sort search results on Dashboard

## Issue

You have created multiple pieces of content but are unable to find specific content in the search field of the Dashboard.

## Probable Cause

Whatfix Dashboard search shows a mix of search results when you type in a keyword. For instance, if you type the keyword Flows, the search throws results of all the content pieces with Flows as a keyword. Such results usually include the specific content (in this case, Flows), along with any other content that has the word Flows in it.

## Suggested Solutions

- Use the **Filter** option to refine your search based on the **Type** of content and **Tags** that you add.
- Use **Created By** to filter your search further based on the content author who has created the content.
- Use the**Created on** or **Last updated on** options to refine the content further based on its recency.

> [!WARNING]
> Note:
>
> - The search field is optional to filter content.
> - For more information on how advanced search works on the Dashboard, see Use Advanced Search on the Whatfix Dashboard.
> - If the issue persists, contact [support@whatfix.com](mailto:support@whatfix.com).
