# Does QuickRead support authenticated repositories?

Yes, QuickRead supports authenticated repositories. QuickRead ensures that only end users who have the necessary permissions can see content from these secured repositories in its responses.

By default, content from authenticated repositories is not included unless end-user authentication is enabled on your account or the **Get responses from authenticated repositories** configuration is enabled on the dashboard. For more information, see [Enable QuickRead Responses from Authenticated Repositories](/studio/docs/enabling-end-user-authentication-for-authenticated-repositories-in-quickread){target=`_blank`}.
