# How does Whatfix ensure the data of each enterprise is segregated and secure?

Whatfix assigns each customer a unique identifier included in all requests and responses. If end-user authentication is enabled, the platform verifies that users have the correct permissions before processing any request. Data from one enterprise cannot be accessed by another, ensuring strict segregation and security.
