# How long does Whatfix retain customer data post contract termination?

Whatfix retains user data, repository content data, and analytics data, for 2 years post-termination of the contract. However, if a you want Whatfix to delete, update, or modify data at any time during the term of engagement or post-termination, reach out to your Whatfix representative.

Based on the requirement, Whatfix deletes, updates, or modifies such data within 30 days and provides a confirmation on the same.
