# How to exclude analytics data from testing environment?

Recognizing and excluding test data is crucial to ensuring that your reports have accurate engagement data.

Use the following instructions to filter test data in Analytics:

2. Click **Filter**.

3. In the pop-up, enter the domains where you want to include or exclude the data from. Use the Plus icon to add multiple domains.

* Use the **Excludes** option to prevent any data from certain domains. Typically used to exclude data from test environments (for example, uat.test.com, sandbox.test.com, and more.)

* Use the **Includes** option if you exactly know the domains from where you want to see the data.

4. Click **Apply Filters**.
