To preview such changes, Whatfix has introduced a Preview extension. This extension enables you to test any AC code used to achieve certain out-of-the-box capabilities. For more information, see [Use Preview extension to test Whatfix content](/studio/docs/use-preview-extension-to-test-whatfix-content). The Preview extension enables you to test and preview content before it is pushed to Production, while the Production extension is required by end users and content creators to actually view the published content in real time. --- ## Download Preview extension Download the Preview extension using any of the following methods: - Download the extension from an MV3 compliant Whatfix Studio. For more information, see [Download Whatfix Preview extension using Whatfix Studio](/studio/docs/install-whatfix-preview-extension-using-whatfix-studio). - Contact [support@whatfix.com](mailto:support@whatfix.com?subject=Need%20preview%20extension&body=Hi%20team%2C%0A%0AKindly%20provide%20the%20Preview%20extension%20for%20my%20account.%0AENT%20ID%3A%0A%0ARegards%2C) to enable Preview extension for your account. - Download the extension from the Code editor. If the issue persists, contact [support@whatfix.com](http://mailto:support@whatfix.com?subject=Error%20when%20installing%20preview%20extension&body=Hi%2C%0A%0AI%20am%20unable%20to%20install%20the%20Preview%20extension.). ## Install Preview extension Whatfix Preview extension can be installed in the following ways: - PowerShell - ZIP Once you have the Preview extension as shared by the Whatfix support team, use the following instructions to install the extension: Using PowerShell The Whatfix Preview extension can be deployed on a computer by using a **PowerShell script**. Note This method is only for **Windows** users. For mass deployment or **macOS**, contact [support@whatfix.com](mailto:support@whatfix.com?Subject=Request%20to%20mass%20deploy%20Whatfix%20Extension%20for%20Mac%20OS&Body=Hello%20Team%2C%0AI%20wish%20to%20mass%20deploy%20the%20Whatfix%20Extension%20for%20all%20my%20end%20users.%20I%20have%20a%20Mac%20OS.%20Please%20provide%20assistance.%0AThanks%20and%20regards.). Use the following steps to install the Whatfix Preview extension using PowerShell: 1. Paste the following command in PowerShell: ``` ./Chrome-ExtensionInstall.ps1 ``` 1. Press **Enter**. Using ZIP your title goes here To install Whatfix's Preview extension, you need to enable the Developer mode in your browser. If this is not possible, contact your IT team for assistance. Use the following steps to install the Whatfix Preview extension using ZIP: 1. Download the extension ZIP file to your local drive and extract the content. Note: It is recommended to use the built-in extraction tool to extract the ZIP file. 1.
