# How to prevent a Beacon from appearing in incorrect locations?

Prevent a Beacon from appearing in incorrect locations by setting its Visibility Rules accurately.

- Specify the rules using attributes such as **Page tag** and **URL Path**.
- Use the visibility rule conditions **Exists** or **Contains**.
- Avoid setting generic rules or conditions, such as using only the domain part of the **URL**, as this can lead to inaccuracies.
- Refine the visibility, use **Not Equals** and **Not Contains** conditions in conjunction with other conditions.

For more information, see [New Visibility Rules](/studio/docs/understand-advanced-visibility-rules-for-content).
