# How to Prevent Certain Articles from Getting Crawled?

Outdated content that remains in your Content Repository might not be suitable for display in Self Help. Whatfix enables you to not display an article from your Content Repository in Self Help by preventing it from getting crawled. Make this exception during the initial configuration of the Content Repository. This can be done by excluding the article using the **Not Contains** option while integrating the Repository.

To exclude more than one article, click **Add More** and add the specific links.

          Note:

Prevent an article from getting crawled only while creating a new Repository.
